News In Brief - Group bids to block HGVs

BAYSWATER residents fearful about the impact of Crossrail’s new lorry routes have formed an action group to lobby City Hall to reject the project’s application for permission to drive vehicles along Chepstow Road, Great Western Road and Westbourne Park Road.

The Westbourne Action Group fears the HGVs will put schoolchildren at risk and vibrations will harm properties.
