Primary school pupils take part in “MozART” competition

Published: 3 February, 2012

IMAGES of colourful artworks produced by schoolchildren from north Westminster were beamed onto a wall as part of the grand finale of an Olympics competition entered by 160 children.

Pupils at Wilberforce Primary, Queen’s Park Primary and the Ark Atwood Primary were invited to take part in the “MozART” competition.

The event was organised by housing managers CityWest Homes and Pinnacle PSG.

The outside of a building on the Mozart estate in Queen’s Park was used as a giant cinema to showcase the works.

Sana Najmaddin, 10, whose entry was among the winners, said: “This is definitely the most exciting event ever on the Mozart estate.”
