THERE was no question what would be ROTW when Seasick Steve’s album You Can’t Teach an Old Dog New Tricks arrived in the post. His words continue to carry a rare authenticity and his mesmerising string work dominates the bare set-up. For the first time, bass appears on a Seasick album, after he ambitiously asked Led Zeppellin’s John Paul Jones to guest. Definite sunset soundtrack of the year.
