• ISLINGTON-based actress and comedian Lisa Hammond, who has starred in TV shows Psychoville and Max and Paddy’s Road to Nowhere, has a secret: she uses her disability to “manipulate people”. The 28-year-old, who has restricted growth, is currently in No Idea at the Young Vic – a show she wrote with collaborator and fellow Islington resident Rachael Spence. She told me she finds it amusing to play on people’s perceptions of disability to gain entry to clubs or jump queues. No Idea contains a series of sketches based on Lisa and Rachael’s quest to create a piece of theatre.
It is playing at the Young Vic until July 31. To book call 020 7922 2922.
